Organizer and External Relations Head
Founded in 1995, the UP Journalism Club’s Campus Journalism Workshop is primarily aimed at equipping elementary and secondary students with the basic principles of the journalism practice. Through the years, it went beyond its borders by reaching out to different communities who want to engage in journalistic writing as well.
In its 20th year, the UPJC aims to organize a campus journalism workshop in its home university.
Our proposed project seeks to partner with student councils, organizations and university offices, with credible lecturers to teach in different areas: news, features, opinion, online media, newsroom management and publication layout, and journalism ethics and media literacy.
The one-day workshop envisions an active student body manifested through initiatives in producing student publications, improving the quality of existing ones, and exercising critical thought and action in ethical decision-making.
When one or all are sought, we take a step forward.

Each year, the College of Mass Communication's Student Council (CMCSC) opens up an application for affiliates. The affiliates will assist in the long year projects and events of the Student Council.
Mass Media Awareness Movement seeks to inform the students about the trends, issues, and situation from the past and current. It envisions the students not to be ignorant in this digital age.
